NWT NEUHÄUSER WindTec - Our H-rotor technology

NEUHÄUSER WindTec produces and distributes wind energy converters from 1 kW to up to 40 kW

All our wind energy converters are based upon the vertical H-rotor technology developed by Neuhäuser WindTec: upright, gearless rotor blades rotating around a vertical axis, producing power via an integrated, permanently excited generator. By optimally harmonising only absolutely essential system components with a highly efficient rotor geometry, our converters achieve a high energy yield even with low cut-in wind speeds.

Made only from hard-wearing materials, Neuhäuser wind energy converters additionally display a high durability and low maintenance independent of their individual rated power, resulting in a profitable cost-value ratio throughout their life cycle.

To equally express the wind power, economic efficiency and environmental sustainability unified in our Neuhäuser wind energy converters, the three product ranges are named after wind gods of different mythologies: Vata H and Notos H.
The only exception: our 1 kW wind energy converters geared at demanding environments, difficult weather conditions und barren terrains. These form our “Dromedar” (dromedary) and “Polarbär” (polar bear) series. (By the way, we donate a percentage of each sold “Polarbär” converter towards the preservation of this important animal and its eco system.)

Principally, all Neuhäuser wind energy converters allow for grid integration as well as for autarkic power supply. Often, our converters can be seamlessly integrated in existing power circuits.

To additionally meet the demand for a constant, grid independent power supply, we have developed our innovative, hybrid container solution.
